Been a while since I posted, but just wanted to share some things I've learned recently: Thomas and I have been doing some real hefty coaching and some of the things that he has really emphasized as always is: 1. The magnitude of impact your beliefs have on your reality. Whether it be in dating or everyday life and everything in between, Thomas really emphasized the point "If you believe dumb shit, don't be surprised when you do dumb shit." 2. Just by interacting with him, I've learned how to express my needs in a clearer way without stepping on the toes of those around me. It always amazes me how Thomas can articulate what he wants, needs, and won't tolerate in a non-butt hurt way that makes you and him happy at the same time. It really is true what they say, you are the sum of the people you hang out with/interact with 3. Limiting beliefs. This isn't something we have delved too deep into yet, but more something I got from a call he did earlier last week. I wrote down every limiting belief that I could remember, and went through some of them with Thomas and some high value friends that I have, and worked on dismantling them. I also combined this with some of the stuff Deon has put out on boundaries, I'm slowly starting to build a new framework for how I view the world and operate within it. 4. Self Love, Self Care, Self Expression. This stuff only slaps when you love yourself. Everything Thomas teaches operates from here. Combine this with the right actions and beliefs and you're a powerful man. Don't buy into the belief that it's all about looks or all about game or money or status. Your beliefs shape your reality and all those things can help, but how do you expect to get there when you can't even love yourself? You are the most important person in your world and your capacity to relate and emote with others will always be hindered if you don't love yourself truly and fully Final thing I'll say on Thomas Whigham and his coaching so far - he makes things simple and clear, which I believe is the best mark of a great coach. To be good at something is one thing, but to explain it in a clear and concise way is another thing. I also had a coaching call with Pierre de Sousa today, dope ass guy. There's not much else I can say that hasn't already been said about Pierre a million times over, so I'll just mention a few of the awesome take aways from the call: 1. Pierre is really good at explaining things in a way that makes sense. For example, we got into a discussion about "radical honesty" as that's been a thing in the community lately. And Pierre explained his take on the situation, what he believes I could benefit from being radically honest, etc etc. The biggest thing I took away from his explanation was that it can really help you become congruent with what you say, feel, and think, which isn't just a "game" thing, but a life thing. 2. We had also discussed a few things I could do to get better, Pierre gave me a few simple but powerful tips which I'm going to be implementing - will report back on this later. There was more, but I'm blanking right now. I'll listen back to the call and edit this at a later time. Hopefully this helps some of y'all, and if you wanted some people to get coaching from, Thomas or Pierre would be great options. Stay swaggy, Kwesi
