This notice explains how thomaswhigham.com and the Thomas Whigham Alerts Messenger integration use information provided through the website.
Messages and retreat applications
When you submit a contact form or retreat application, the details you provide are emailed to Tom so he can review your request and respond. These details can include your name, email address, phone number, Facebook profile link, selected service or retreat, and written answers.
When Messenger notifications are enabled, an alert is also sent to Tom through Facebook Messenger. It can contain your name, contact details and submitted message, or a shorter notice directing him to the email.
Testimonials
Testimonial submissions are stored for Tom to review. Your name, written testimonial and optional photograph may appear publicly after approval. Submitted videos are kept in private storage for Tom to review and download; approving a testimonial does not automatically publish its video. An optional Facebook profile link is included in Tom’s review email.
When Messenger notifications are enabled, Tom also receives an alert with your name, category and written words, or a shorter notice directing him to the review email. Private links to submitted media and moderation controls stay in the review email and are excluded from automated Messenger alerts.
Accounts, security and website usage
Creating an account provides your email address and password to Supabase for account registration and authentication. Sign-in uses cookies to maintain your session. The site also uses browser session storage to remember your place when browsing its archives.
The forms use IP-based checks to limit repeated submissions. Testimonial submission checks store a keyed hash of the IP address. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights measure website usage and performance; they are excluded from private testimonial review pages.
Service providers and external sites
Vercel hosts the website and provides its analytics and performance tools. Supabase provides account authentication, database storage and uploaded-media storage. Resend delivers website emails. Meta processes Messenger notifications; the integration stores Page and recipient identifiers and notification delivery records to route and retry these alerts.
The website links to Calendly for bookings, Facebook and Messenger for conversations and community participation, and YouTube, operated by Google, for videos. It also displays YouTube thumbnails. Those services handle information under their own privacy policies when you use them.
Questions and requests
To ask about information you submitted, request a correction or deletion, or ask for a published testimonial to be removed, contact Tom using the contact page. Include enough information to identify the relevant submission.
