Meeting Maharajji
Tom met his guru, Neem Karoli Baba, one day when he was sitting on the porch of his house. Through a series of miraculous events, he realized that he was now able to communicate with Maharajji at any time through listening to his heart. Focusing on his heart center became the most important aspect of his life, having his heart guide his actions spontaneously in every moment. Tom began to practice guru yoga, embodying and acting like Neem Karoli Baba throughout the day.

Maharajji saw love in everything. As Tom learned more and more about his guru, he realized that every single thing Maharajji did was the most loving thing possible. Tom realized that all emotions — fear, anger, guilt, shame — are also love.
Bhakti and service
Just like Maharajji, Tom would now go about being involved in his students’ lives and their problems, helping them solve the challenges they faced, all while teaching them to love God and see God in everything. Tom had become a devout bhakti yogi, growing his devotion and acting in service of God.
Following in Maharajji’s footsteps, Tom teaches others how to bring their gifts to the world and share the unique, priceless love that only they can offer.
