Hi everyone, I went on a retreat with Thomas and some other good lads including Numair Sani a few weeks ago and wanted to share about my experience here. The biggest thing I want to share is that I felt a sense of building family and long term brotherhood with many of the people in the retreat. I had seen them before and going through the drama of being in close quarters for a week with them again really bonded our relationships even further. Thomas’ presence was very stable and grounding and it felt like a place where I could let go for a bit. Everyone also told me how much growth they saw in me since I was last at the retreat. I had become much calmer and less in my head. This got even better in the retreat when Thomas asked me to find a place of devotion and love within myself. I did exactly that and delved deep to find a place where I could submit to a higher power. I felt a warm sensation below my heart in my diaphragm area and I now know that is a place I can always return to. Overall I left the retreat with the feeling that I can’t wait to be back at the next one.
