I'm writing to let y'all know about how my first week of coaching with Thomas Whigham has been going. Full disclaimer, Thomas, asked me to write this post as a way to give love back, so that's what I'm going to do. Thomas and I go way back. He's such a loving and sincere guy and a good friend. I have struggled with faith and purpose most of my life. Especially in the last few years, there's been a huge disconnect in my life. I've been watching Thomas's growth over the last few months and realized that he had found something that I've been searching for for a long time now. He was deeply connected with his purpose and mission in life, and I was not. For probably the past decade, I've been disconnected with my own purpose and faith, and have mostly been drifting along on that sea we call life. I've worked with several coaches in the past to help me with my purpose but never made any headway on that specific issue. But I knew Thomas before he was fully connected with his purpose. Now that he is, he's like a super-charged guy. And that's what I wanted, so I decided to let Thomas be my guide in all this. I had to fight back a lot of ego to work with him, as I've been a coach for a long time and felt myself his superior. I'm three calls in with Thomas and have started to really tap into my own purpose and can slowly feel the threads of my life starting to come together again. He provides a tremendous amount of love and kindness, and, when you're disconnected from your purpose, you need a lot of love and kindness to find your way back. We're only three calls in but I already feel like we've made some major progress in helping me to get out of my rut. So thank you man.
