Influence comes from the knowledge that it’s good for another to listen to you, and you know better than they do what is good for them. If you don’t know these things you aren’t going to influence others organically; you can have it axiomatically by means of language — conversational patterns— but to have the latent energy to spontaneously generate influence, where anything you say can have this effect, what I wrote above is a huge part.
