Imagine pain shame fear neediness is a child hiding in a game of hide and seek. It pops up and waves at me. I wrap it in a huge hug and say I love you I’ve found you. Can I hide again? Of course I smile beaming, I’ll find you and love you

That wave is just trying to get my love; I don’t need to let it sit there waving for an hour; I just give it the hug it wants, immediately
