I wrote a post describing the natural state in a progression and added explanations (it started with "“How do I reach the highest states of consciousness without psychedelics? Should I meditate? Should I watch non-dual youtubers?” )....

For folks who want the direct transmission, I’ll write out how my guru pointed me to this progression.

Progression:

1) Gently suspend the mind and “enter awareness”

2) Experience yourself as openness

3) Extend the openness to infinity, feeling vastness

4) Feel as much love as you can for one thing, and extend that love out to all things. Relax as this love.

5) Feel as much love as you can for one thing, and extend that to all aspects of yourself, including sensations, emotions, thoughts and past experiences. Relax as love itself while saturated with it.

6) While feeling this inner and outer love, notice the energies in your body. With this feeling central in awareness, sit with what arises (emotions, memories, thoughts). Now, metabolize what is naturally arising in experience, turning it into more energy and presence.

7) Appreciate that what is naturally arising is FOR this metabolization process, and all experience is a fuel source (arising, loved, dissolved into more love, arising, loved, more love etc):

Maharaji:

1) The way my guru taught this is to “see only love”... to gaze from the overflowing emanating love of your own being, dissolving the mind naturally into non-judgmental heart awareness, while seeing everything as the inherent loving actuality of divinity.

2) The way my guru taught this is by saying “God is always at peace”-- directly pointing to the peace beneath shifting circumstances and arising emotions. All emotions are welcome to arise naturally and peace is always present.

3) The way my guru taught this is to realize “It’s all god”-- its all vast beyond words and boundaries.

4) The way my guru taught this is “All water is the sacred water. All trees are the wish fulfilling tree. All land is the divine land. Love everything.”

5) The way my guru taught this is “You cannot understand god without understanding the love of the Mother.” The way an ideal mother might love all of her child without needing a reason.

6) The way my guru taught this was non-verbal. Moment to moment experience would emanate as vast amounts of palpable energy and radiate to others that he focused on, and to those who focused on him with openness.

7) The way my guru taught this was to say “Love everyone. Serve Everyone. Remember God”
